Yesterday was hectic and I didn’t get a chance to blog. Sorry. I haven’t written anything new either–though I worked on revisions for a few hours. I keep changing the beginning. I’ve switched the first two scenes around and I think it works better now.

I’m reading a new book  Sexiest Man Alive by Diana Holquist and am enjoying it very much. I read excerpts from it on Dear author and knew I had to buy the book. I’ll give you a full review when I finish it.

I want to see Transformers on DVD. My oldest son grew up watching the cartoon so it makes me sort of nostagic. I love movies and reality tv. At the moment my favorite reality show is The Hills. Heidi isn’t a very nice person and I won’t even go into what I think of Spencer. Talk about a bad catch–throw him back.

Anyway, remember that I’ll be at ebooklove on Saturday. Come play with me.

I’m seriously going to try and write every day. How successful I’ll be remains to be seen. I’m still working on The Deal. Still love my characters. Not so sure about my writing–having an insecure time with that. Yes, I know all writers get this way some time, so I guess it’s my turn again.

I didn’t final in a local Mystery Writing Contest and I was a little dissappointed, but it was my first try at a mystery short story so I shouldn’t feel that bad. It was fun and I think I’ll give it away as a free read on my website when I can figure out how to turn it into a PDF file. I downloaded something to help me do that but I still can’t figure out how yet. I’m so computer iliterate.

I have a chat this Saturday at ebooklove with Pam Champagne from noon to I belive five. Come by and get a chance to win a PDF of Inventing the Abbotts. Heck, I might even give away a copy of my print book Fire & Ice.

Anyway, you all have a great day. I’m off to try and write.

How do you like Mauvelous’s cover?

Sorry, I listen to Michael Buble too much. Good Morning all! I’m in a good mood this morning because I’m back to writing again–I mean everyday. The Deal is coming along nicely and I’m pretty darn happy with it so far. I love Elizabeth’s character. I see parts of me in her, though not the born-with-a-silver-spoon-in-my-mouth part. Though, growing up on a farm in Minnesota wasn’t rough. We had everything we needed–maybe not everything we wanted. We did have toys. We have motocycles and snowmobiles. Had vehicles to drive and nice clothes to wear. So, I can say things were pretty good. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today if I’d have had a different upbringing. Anyway, I digress. Elizabeth may be a bit snobby but she also has a heart. She wants love–something she’s seen very little of growing up. I can see why she is the way she is, I just hope the reader gives her that same chance. Jesse is Mister Hottie and from the pictures I’ve posted, you know I’ve used Adam Levine as my image for him. Jesse hasn’t had it too easy, having lost his parents at twenty and thrust into taking care of his younger brother Ryan. He’s not having an easy time of that either. Ryan has gotten himself into a real jam and Jesse has to get him out. This is how Jesse and Elizabeth are thrown together, and mayham and passion ensue. Both will learn a lot in the two-weeks they’re forced to be together and will come out better people in the end. Anyway, as you can tell I’m excited again. I look forward to opening up my WIP every morning. I’m back and I’m thrilled to be.

Have a fantastic day!
