It’s simple, just tell me here what Knox & Melanie do for a living. You can read excepts on Love Romance cafe or go to my website jerridrennen.com and download the first chapter to find out. I’ll choose a winner by Sunday afternoon.

As far as writing goes, I haven’t done a whole lot since Monday. Galen and Dana are resting a bit. I’ve been working on revisions for The Deal and Untouched, and getting a submission ready for a contest I’m going to enter.

On the home front, the kids started Summer school today. They have a month, then they’re out for the rest of the Summer, though my 15-year-old has band camp in July. That means running him back and forth to that everyday.

Anyway, have a pleasant Thursday!

Jerri

So, yesterday I wrote, 1,069 and today I wrote, 1,040. Total since I started the challenge, 81,177. I also edited chapter 5 of Untouched.

How are you doing?

Jerri

I did better than I could have ever dreamed. Tomorrow I will have reached 80,000 words for the challenge. This was my first 70 days of sweating and I am more than pleased with my results. Yesterday’s word count was 1,054. Today, 1007. Total, 79,068

I’m not going to bore you with details but this month has been really tough on a personal level. I’m getting my reflux back because of all the stress–something my body can’t handle. What I did realize though was that I am a real writer. I can write through things that most wouldn’t be able to. Why? Because I love it. I want to be a Best-selling author. I want people to know who I am. I think you really have to want that to write through rough times. Besides writing, I’m reading craft books and am learning so much about what make a memorable character, a strong plot and all around great story. I hope that Untouched shows that I’ve strengthened my writing and have created two characters that I truly love. Today, I’ve hit page 95 in the second book in the series, nearing halfway to completion. The third book is already perulating in my head, the chatacters, Hunt & Reyna. Both very strong, tough people. Conflict will be revealed in the second but, but will be reiterated in the third.

Anyway, have a good night, and on American Idol tonight…Go David Cook!

Checking in!

May 11, 2008

Have a wonderful evening.

I’m back!

May 9, 2008

I’m still here, still writing on the challenge. Yesterdays word count was 1059. Today was, 1015. Totally since Svening, 74,876. I think there is less than a week to go now. I still haven’t missed one day of writing. Yes, it is a record–one I hope to continue.

Anyway, have a fabulous evening!

Jerri

I thought about not writing and then I scolded myself. I intend to make it through the whole 70 days. If I blew it now, it’d just be stupid. Anyway, word count yesterday 1,088, for today, 1,059. Total since I started, 73,871.

I have to tell you, I’ve had a really bad week. I’ve tried to stay upbeat but today was the straw. I’m very emotional and everthing seems to be affecting me. I hope tomorrow is better.

Have a better day than me,

Jerri

So yesterday and today’s word count is 2,145. Total since I started this crazy thing is 71,723. (BIG GRIN)

Have a fantastic day!

Jerri

I believe I have about a week left of the Sven challenge. I have to say that it has been totally sucessful for me. Tomorrow I’ll hit over 70,000 words since I started. Word count from yesterday and today is, 2,110. Total, 69,578 words. I’m looking foward to going back over Untouched for the second draft, and continuing with the second book that I’m almost 70 pages in to. I’m so proud of my accomplishment. I’m gained a routine I can stick to. I realized that by this challenge. Anyone can, if I can. 1,000 words is easy–about an hour of your day–that’s all.

It’s my hubby’s birthday today. I need to go bake him a cake. You all have a restful Sunday!

Jerri

Two more days!

May 2, 2008

Yesterday my word count was, 1,127. Today, 1014. Total since I started sweating with Sven, 67,468 words.

Have a great day!
